Dr. Liangxue Liu is President of Woodland Research Ltd. since 2003; from 1995 to 2003 he was Senior Environmental Scientist at SGS Lakefield, widely regarded as one of the leading geochemical evaluation laboratories worldwide. Dr. Liu is Consulting Geochemist to a number of mining engineering firms, major and junior mining companies and geoscience contractors. Dr. Liu possesses over 17 years- experience in acid mine drainage, water and wastewater treatment, waste management, soil nutrient/fertility evaluation and pilot-plant design and setup for the evaluation of gold, platinum group metals, uranium, REE-s and base metals. He has authored numerous widely published scientific papers and articles. Dr. Liu obtained his Ph.D. and Masters from the University of Guelph.
