SOUTH WINDSOR, CT — (Marketwire) — 05/08/12 — For the second consecutive month, British boy band One Direction reigned supreme over – Monthly Top Events rankings.
The band announced their 2012 tour in late March and immediately rose up the rankings after selling out every show on the tour. Due to surging ticket sales and high demand, the band decided to in mid-April. Despite there only being a little under two weeks remaining in April following their tour announcement, sales for the 2013 shows debuted in the rankings at No. 5.
While One Direction didn-t hit it big in the U.S. until this year, Bruce Springsteen has been going strong for more than thirty years and performed well in April, finishing at No. 3. “The Boss” is currently touring Europe but will return to North America this summer, playing multiple venues including , Citizens Bank Park in Philadelphia and Wrigley Field in Chicago.
