Industry Accolades Continue for Lattice iCE40 FPGA Family

HILLSBORO, OR — (Marketwire) — 10/11/12 — Lattice Semiconductor Corporation (NASDAQ: LSCC) today announced that its ultra-low density iCE40 FPGA family has been named an Elektra Awards Finalist as “Digital Semiconductor Product of the Year.” This honor comes shortly after the iCE40 FPGA family garnered an e-Legacy Award in the “Environmental Design” category for its energy saving and power efficiency.

Finalists were determined by a panel of independent judges as part of the Elektra European Electronics Industry Awards 2012. The winners will be announced at an Elektra Awards Dinner, which will take place on December 12 at the Park Plaza, Westminster Bridge in London. The established annual highpoint of the electronics industry, the Elektra Awards gives the industry the opportunity to recognize the achievements of individuals and companies across Europe.

“We are delighted to receive this recognition from the Elektra Awards- independent judges,” said Brent Przybus, Lattice Senior Director of Corporate and Product Marketing. “Our innovative, ultra-low density iCE40 FPGAs continue to receive widespread recognition in the industry and broad acceptance in the marketplace for their versatility, low cost and low power. The iCE40 FPGA family is opening new markets and applications for FPGAs, including widespread adoption in consumer and mobile electronic designs.”

The iCE40 family of FPGAs is designed for applications that have the most aggressive power, cost and footprint requirements. Ideally architected for smartphones, tablets, digital still cameras, and other space and power constrained systems, the iCE40 family uses a highly cost optimized fabric. The iCE40 FPGA family is an ideal choice for functions such as sensor management, video and imaging, custom connectivity, memory/storage expansion and glue logic.
