Responsys Announces Promotion of Scott Olrich to President, Marketing and Platform

SAN BRUNO, CA — (Marketwired) — 05/03/13 — (NASDAQ: MKTG), a leading provider of email and , today announced that effective immediately, has been promoted to President, Marketing and Platform. Olrich previously held the title of Chief Marketing and Sales Officer and will continue to report to Chairman and CEO Dan Springer in his new role.

In his role as President, Marketing and Platform for Responsys, Olrich will own all major marketing, product and platform functions for the company. Jason Zintak, Responsys as Senior Vice President of Worldwide Sales has taken over the global selling organization. Olrich will continue to be a member of the executive leadership team focused on driving Responsys- strategic direction and future growth.

Olrich is frequently quoted in leading industry publications and speaks regularly at industry conferences, such as Forrester-s Marketing Forum, the National Conference for Database Marketing, the Adobe Summit and MarketingSherpa, American Marketing Association and Direct Marketing Association events.

Prior to joining Responsys, Olrich held marketing, sales, product management and strategic consulting roles at Topica, Inc. and Accenture. Olrich holds a Bachelor of Science in Business and Finance from San Diego State University.
