SGWI Global Corporate Headquarters in Sandbach, Cheshire in the U.K., successfully raised £3,200, thanks to the valiant efforts of the local staff members, and donations made by its employees from around the world, who are affectionately known as “guardians.” There was a Tombola, a raffle, and a delicious variety of cakes, baked goods and homemade jam, all prepared personally by the SGWI guardians.
The World-s Biggest Coffee Morning is Macmillan Cancer Support-s largest fundraising event. Every year, local business and individuals in the UK host a coffee morning, where donations are made to Macmillan. In 2012, over 115,000 people signed up and raised a record £15 million.
