Plunet Continues to Expand – New Team Members in Berlin and Würzburg

Berlin/Würzburg, October 29, 2015 – An increasing number of translation agencies and language service providers are choosing Plunet for their business and translation management processes. Therefore, one of Plunet’s top priorities is the further development and professionalisation of the employee structures at Plunet’s sites in Europe and the USA.

Hannah Sheeran, Efim Tamplon and Chris King have joined Plunet’s offices in Berlin and Würzburg. The new team members will be responsible for technical documentation and localisation management, frontend and CAT interface development.

Hannah Sheeran, originally from England, will be responsible for Plunet’s technical documentation and localisation. After completing her German degree with distinction at the University of Leeds, Hannah moved to Berlin to study for a Masters, as well as working in the translation department of a software company. Her task at Plunet will be to optimize the user documentation at all levels. The functionality of the software needs to be explained to the growing Plunet community in a clear and concise way. Hannah will also handle Plunet’s localisation management, focusing on improving the quality, consistency and clarity of the Plunet graphical user interface and documentation. Hannah’s flair for languages will also come to the fore when translating communication material and ensuring that texts are tailored to the target audience.

Plunet Würzburg has gained a valuable addition in Efim Tamplon, who will be working in frontend development. The passionate programmer studied Software Engineering at the Hochschule Heilbronn. During his practice-oriented degree, Efim gained extensive experience in dealing with web technologies and developing software interfaces. Efim’s position in frontend development exemplifies the continual optimization of the Plunet GUI and overall usability, with a focus on an interactive and highly intelligent user interface. The goal of Plunet’s comprehensive frontend modernization is for all user-facing components to be implemented in an uncomplicated way. This will ensure the best possible user experience.
A familiar face returns to the Plunet development team: Chris King, a software developer from Shrewsbury, England, actively supported the Plunet interface development from 2012-2014. Chris played a key part in the sophisticated conception and implementation of the Plunet Quickbooks interface. The enthusiastic Java and .NET expert will boost Plunet’s interface development, helping to cement Plunet’s worldwide leading role in the dynamic integration of CAT tools and complementary software solutions. Chris will work closely with technology partners, customers and the Plunet product management to develop new interfaces and optimize existing ones. This will ensure that Plunet continues to provide its users with the highest level of automation, interoperability and usability across multiple systems in the future.
