Cooking for Dummies: Gobble Brings 10-Minute Dinner Kit Delivery Service to Denver

PALO ALTO, CA — (Marketwired) — 01/28/16 — , the creator of 10-minute dinner kits delivered to your door, announced today that it is now serving the Denver metro area. Gobble is the only meal delivery company that handles all the prep work for busy people so they can make a home-cooked meal, using one pan, in under 10 minutes.

Just for this week, Gobble is also offering , for the Big Game featuring San Francisco specialties that will make fans feel like they–re at Levi–s Stadium for the game (including San Francisco sourdough bread and locally sourced organic poultry). Kits can be ordered Jan. 28 through Feb. 1, for delivery on Feb. 5.

Gobble differs from other meal kit delivery services in that all ingredients are pre-portioned, pre-chopped, pre-mixed and pre-cooked, making cooking a meal far less intimidating for people who aren–t skilled cooks or who don–t have time to cook from scratch. Faster than takeout, Gobble is also a healthier option.

Initially founded in San Francisco, in recent weeks Gobble has expanded its delivery area to encompass Los Angeles, Las Vegas, Seattle and now Denver.

Ooshma Garg founded Gobble because, as a busy entrepreneur, she didn–t have the time or skills to cook healthy meals for herself — and she was sick of takeout. “I found that there are a lot of people like me who would love to cook at home but either don–t have the time or are intimidated by the thought of cooking a meal from scratch, even with an ingredient kit,” said Garg.

Gobble choices (including vegetarian and kid-friendly options) are prepared by Executive Chef Thomas Ricci, a Michael Mina protégé and previously Chef de Cuisine at LB Steak in San Jose.

According to Garg, Gobble selected Denver as its next expansion city due to the prevalence of busy professionals and families with two working parents, and its tech-friendly vibe. In addition, delivery culture is well established in Denver.

Denver-area residents who want to see Gobble–s current menu choices or try Gobble can get $50 off their first week of dinner kits by signing up for the service at and entering launch promo code “DenverLaunch50.” Pricing starts at $11.95 per meal.

Founded by serial entrepreneur Ooshma Garg, does all the cooking prep work for busy professionals so they can be dinner heroes at home and serve up a home-cooked meal for their loved ones in under 10 minutes — no cooking skills needed.

The Gobble model allows families to cook with fresh real ingredients, control how much butter, salt, spice, etc. goes into their meal, and eat a “hot off the stove” dinner garnished with fresh herbs. This can all be done with one pan, minimal clean up, and in less time than it takes to receive a takeout delivery. The service also alleviates stress for working parents by removing the pressure to cook from scratch every night and affording families the ability and energy to spend more quality time together.
