Overture Center for the Arts Renews Partnership With Paciolan

IRVINE, CA and MADISON, WI — (Marketwire) — 10/11/11 — Paciolan, a leading provider of ticketing, marketing and fundraising solutions in performing arts, today announced that Overture Center for the Arts has renewed its partnership with the company. Overture Center houses 10 resident organizations and presents more than 300 performances, art exhibitions, and educational and community events each year. Overture Center has been working with Paciolan since 2005.

“Paciolan consults with us on strategies and best practices used throughout the country, and this is very helpful in achieving our goals,” said Robert Palmer, Overture Center-s ticket office manager. “Additionally, the company-s forward-thinking product direction, including CRM and mobile ticketing, will help us to deliver a rich patron experience and realize success in all areas of our business.”

With the Paciolan partnership renewal, Overture Center will implement Paciolan-s Customer Relationship Management (CRM) solution, which will allow it to manage every point of contact with each patron to enhance customer services and grow lifetime relationships. This is particularly important as they transition from being a municipality to a fully operated 501 c3 non-profit organization in January 2012. By leveraging the Paciolan system, they-ll be able to better serve patrons and donors and grow revenues.

Overture Center will also be expanding Paciolan-s Access Management into its theaters and implementing print-at-home ticketing. The extension of Access Management and digital ticketing will enable patrons to order tickets online, and conveniently print tickets at home for any of the resident theaters at the center, even if all theaters are operating in a single night.

Leveraging the Internet to sell designer series and single tickets, Overture Center more than tripled its online adoption percentage for single ticket sales over the past two years. In some cases, it exceeded 70 percent of all tickets being sold online. For the 2009/2010 season, it doubled its Broadway ticket renewals and has already surpassed its goals for the 2011/2012 season.

Using Paciolan-s PACMail e-mail marketing system, Overture Center is able to effectively communicate with its patrons, and segment them based on purchase history to create awareness. They-re also able to promote presales to promoters for upcoming shows.

“It-s exciting to be continuing our partnership with Overture Center as they make the transition to non-profit status,” said Dave Butler, chief executive officer of Paciolan. “We are confident that our CRM solution will help bolster communication with donors and patrons to better serve them, and increase ticket sales and revenue.”

Overture Center for the Arts is a stunning architectural landmark in the heart of Madison-s thriving cultural arts district. In addition to housing ten resident organizations and presenting more than 300 performances, art exhibitions, and educational and community events each year, Overture offers a variety of venues for performances, corporate meetings, conventions, trade shows, weddings, banquets, and receptions. Its resident companies include: Bach Dancing & Dynamite Society; Children-s Theater of Madison; Li Chiao-Ping Dance; Kanopy Dance Company; Madison Ballet; Madison Museum of Contemporary Art; Madison Opera; Madison Symphony Orchestra; Wisconsin Academy; and the Wisconsin Chamber Orchestra.
