CloudFloor Announces Integration With Leading Cloud Providers, Including Amazon Web Services, Rackspace and GoGrid

WALTHAM, MA — (Marketwire) — 10/24/11 — CloudFloor, a division of Everbridge, Inc. and product leader in cloud management, cloud optimization, and DNS, has announced full integration of its CloudControl product with three leading public cloud providers — Amazon Web Services, RackspaceĀ®, and GoGrid. An innovative cloud management and optimization platform, CloudControl allows users to combine business and technical metrics to gain insight into their cloud operations across all geographic and availability zones. Through these newly announced integrations, the platform provides users greater visibility and control of cloud operations in order to optimize business goals spanning across multiple cloud providers.

CloudControl analyzes performance, availability, and technical data across all of a user-s cloud instances. Metrics, such as cost per conversion and cloud instance utilization, can be measured against one provider or averaged across all providers. This allows the user to make informed decisions about how to optimize utilization and spend on their cloud operations.

To improve business decisions around cloud spending, CloudControl offers new ways to visualize an infrastructure-s both technical and business metrics, simultaneously. Users can display their cloud-s technical and cost data graphically through dynamic, real-time user-defined charts and infrastructure maps outlining their cloud deployment hierarchy. These images represent their entire infrastructure in the cloud, even if it spans across multiple providers.

CloudControl also allows users to apply advanced DNS traffic shaping, the ability to ramp up or down cloud instances, and failover features to the applications hosted across any of the multiple cloud providers. It offers both visibility and control, whether routing traffic, utilizing bursting to handle spikes in usage, turning down cloud instances to save on costs after a traffic spike or leveraging failover to avoid downtime or poor performance.

CloudControl is currently in private beta and is open for qualified users. Since the beta commencement in September 2011, the platform has experienced significant user acceleration.
